Being in business since 2001, our Design studio knows design. We work with our clients through each step of the process; ensuring their vision comes into reality and move through the design process in an organized and thoughtful way. CF Interiors understands that design is not just about the finished results but more the process taken to get there. Charlene Fountain
President and Lead Designer
Charlene holds a Business Marketing Degree from Loyola University in Maryland. She worked for Saks Fifth Avenue before joining the Xerox Corporation in Sales prior to forming CF Interiors LLC in 2002. During that time she studied Interior Design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. The CF Interiors team grew as they moved to their first Design Studio in Lutherville in 2007. Later in 2016 CF Interiors expanded to a new location and launched the Contemporary Fresh retail studio at Green Spring Station. During that time CF Interiors online store was launched to support the growing decor and giftware business. CF Interiors Design Studio has worked on top commercial projects such as The Church of the Nativity, Foxleigh Management, HWK Law group, The Archdioceses of Baltimore, and St. Paul’s School.
Doug Cole
Creative Product Director and Purchasing
Holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design Degree, Visual Option from North Caroline State University School of Design. With an extensive background as an Art Director and Graphic Designer, he worked at Alder-Schwartz Graphics and later at Adler Design Group before opening Cole Design in 2005. He is a member of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP®).
Sheri Miller
Design Assistant
Received her BA from McDaniel College and attended the Mount Vernon College of Design. Sheri worked for Sunderland Interiors in Pikesville Maryland as a Design Assistant. She also designed and helped to build three of her family’s ten restaurants. Sheri took some time away from the design industry to publish two books and volunteer for many local and national charities by serving on the board. She entered back into the design industry by joining CF Interiors in 2017.
Missy Parsons
E-Commerce Manager
Missy received her Bachelor of Arts from York College of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree from Towson University. Missy spent the first 15 years of her career teaching and developing curriculum for Baltimore County Public Schools. She stepped away from teaching to stay at home with her two young boys before transitioning to the field of design and e-commerce. She joined the CF Interiors Team in 2022. Missy focuses on the online store and social media promoting CF Interiors Contemporary Fresh.
Claire Sperber
Design Assistant & Marketing
Claire studied Interior Design at Anne Arundel Community College and is currently attending Towson University. She began assisting with design services as an intern at CF Interiors in 2020 with a focus in Interior Decorating. Currently Claire works on Client Projects to help with design concept development with our Design Team. She manages email marketing communications to our Design and Retail clients. Claire's love for Design shows through in all of her design tasks she completes at CF Interiors.
